The International Federation of Pharmaceutical Manufacturers & Associations has appointed Masafumi Nogimori of Astellas Pharma as its new acting president and Stefan Oschmann of Merck KGaA as its new acting vice-president1.

These leadership changes follow the recent resignation of David Brennan, former CEO of AstraZeneca, as IFPMA president. The IFPMA assembly will hold the next leadership elections for the association in October 2012.
