Japanese association elects new board members

The Japan Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association has elected Takeda president Yasuchika Hasegawa as its new president. Also elected as vice presidents at the association’s general assembly on 19 May were: Isao Teshirogi, responsible for overall management/distribution; Toichi Takenaka, R&D/intellectual property; Haruo Naito, international affairs; Takashi Shoda, medical security; and Masayo Tada, public affairs.
