Industry veteran Gorrie joins BSI board

International standards and assessment provider BSI Group has appointed Tom Gorrie a non-executive board member, effective 1 September. Dr Gorrie is a former corporate vice president, government affairs and policy, at Johnson & Johnson, where he worked for 35 years, mainly in the medical devices area.
BSI said: “Dr Gorrie’s expertise in this field, which includes personally overseeing the inception-to-market process, is expected to make a significant contribution to [our] influence in this arena.”
