The phytochemical developer teams with investigators at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson to study the impact of pTeroPure pterostilbene on cardiovascular health, glucose levels, anti-aging, cognitive function and metabolic disorders. Irvine, Calif.-based ChromaDex touts the ingredient in a Sept. 7 release as chemically related to resveratrol, but with "significantly higher activity."
