Reynolds assists CFSAN GMP efforts: Carl Reynolds will help implement the dietary supplement good manufacturing practices as he joins the Division of Dietary Supplements at FDA's Center for Food Safety and Applied Nutrition. Division Director Bill Frankos announced Nov. 12 at the SupplySide West conference and trade show in Las Vegas that Reynolds will serve as his special assistant. Perrigo names Needham consumer GM: The private-label leader promotes Jeff Needham from senior VP and commercial business development president to executive VP and general manager of the consumer health care business. Needham's experience at the Allegan, Mich., company most recently includes senior VP for international markets and previously managing director for U.K. operations. He was marketing VP from 1993 to 2002. Pflum leads Cognis nutrition in North America: Specialty chemicals and nutritional ingredients manufacturer the Cognis Group appoints Gregory E. Pflum as VP of its nutrition and health business in North America, replacing David M. Eckert, who is leaving the company but will work with Pflum until year-end. Cincinnati-based Cognis said Nov. 1 Pflum has 20 years of experience in the firm's manufacturing operations, most recently as chief administrative officer and VP of supply chain operations, where he was responsible for all functions supporting Cognis' businesses in North America. |
