Citing Wall Street predictions the $5.4 billion energy market will grow to $10 billion by 2010, MHI Chairman Elwood Sprenger says diet energy drinks "are growing at twice the rate within this category." Rudy scores energy drink deal

Marshall Holdings International acquires Rudy Nutrition, which distributes Rudy vitamin water through its subsidiary Rudy Beverage, the natural products distributor says Nov. 17. Rudy was created by former Notre Dame football player Daniel "Rudy" Ruettiger and contains electrolytes, sea salts, natural vitamins and minerals, MHI says.
