The U.K. Advertising Standards Authority told supplement firm Healthy for Life to remove or amend misleading claims for 10 products in its brochure, according to a July 2 ASA announcement. The Health Food Manufacturers Association filed the original complaint. It asked that the firm substantiate its claims and took issue with language in the brochure that implies "supplements could be used to prevent or treat illness, elevate mood or enhance normal performance," ASA says.
