Executive Summary

An exclusive global licensing deal between Nestle USA and Jamba Juice will yield a line of healthy, ready-drink beverages under the Jamba brand name, the firms report Dec. 4. Launching in the U.S. in the 2008 second quarter, the products will comprise two offerings: Smoothies, a "nourishing blend of natural ingredients like real fruit and a splash of low-fat milk, and Juices, a lighter, refreshing blend of fruit with a splash of nonfat milk." The line will contain Emeryville, Calif.-based Jamba's vitamin and mineral boosts.
