Executive Summary

U.S. Pharmacopeia's joint agreement with the Natural Products Association to test raw dietary ingredients is non-exclusive, USP says July 21. Additionally, ingredient suppliers will not be graded, NPA's Vice President of Scientific and Regulatory Affairs Daniel Fabricant stated during a press briefing. The testing program will focus on ingredients meeting certain specifications, he said. NPA anticipates it will "open doors" on the program in September.
