Ocean Nutrition Canada Limited, supplier of MEG-3 brand omega-3 EPA/DHA functional foods and dietary supplements, has entered a joint venture agreement with Alicorp, Peru's leading edible oils and food manufacturer, to open an Omega-3 fish oil manufacturing facility in Peru, the Canadian company announces. The new facility will allow ONC to increase its capacity to manufacture standard 18:12 fish oil by more than 200% and increase its Omega-3 high concentrate oil capacity by more than 50%, the firm notes.
