Cargill Health and Food Technologies has developed a bread containing plant sterols, which have been clinically shown to help lower cholesterol. Three slices of Oroweat Whole Grain & Oat bread provides at least 0.8 grams of the CoroWise brand of plant sterols, which help reduce LDL or "bad" cholesterol, the company claims.
