Goen Technologies/TrimSpa attorney James Fischer has been elected to chair AHPA's 2006 Board of Trustees, the American Herbal Products Association announces March 29. Fischer, of the firm Drinker Biddle & Reath, currently serves as outside counsel to Goen, AHPA notes. The elections held March 23 at AHPA's annual meeting in Anaheim, Calif. also named a number of other officers, including Herbalist and Alchemist's Beth Lambert as Board vice-chair, Gordon Walker of Nature's Way Products as secretary, and General Nutrition Centers' Susan Trimbo as treasurer...
