The creators of the Chicken Soup for the Soul book series are launching a line of supplements under a licensing agreement with New Health Systems, according to a Jan. 4 announcement. Chicken Soup for the Soul Supplements are sold online and include TrimWorks Ultra Carb Blocker with Phaseolamin and TrimWorks meal replacement formula drink mix. Energess, whichcontains mate leaf and Korean ginseng, "supports long-term energy and mental alertness" and retails for $34.95. The firm has an agreement with strategic research firm Europharma, and is "aggressively developing dozens of scientifically backed" products to add to the company's offerings in 2006. A national TV and radio ad campaign with the slogan "real stories from real people getting real results" will break over the next few months...
