Voluntary safety recall of 12,000 Nature's Bounty Multivitamin Plus Iron bottles is underway due to insufficient child-resistant packaging, Consumer Product Safety Commission announces July 12. "If more than 12 tablets are ingested by a child, these iron containing supplements can cause serious injury or death," NBTY warns consumers in a same-day release. The product in question was sold nationwide from July 2004 through March 2005.
