Nine groups interested in mandatory adverse event reporting for dietary supplements will meet with Sen. Michael Enzi (R-Wyo.), the Senate HELP Committee chairman indicated during the Food & Drug Law Institute Annual Conference in Washington, D.C. April 7. "My first request is that you meet with the staff, and they'll take more information than I can possibly absorb. They'll keep it in a good situation so it can actually be used in legislation that they're helping me draft, and they'll make sure that I understand it in a timely manner before we get to the actual stakeholder meetings," Enzi said. "After they've given their input to the staff, I can see if what the staff got out of it was what we really intended to do."
