FDA names Leslye Fraser Director of the Office of Regulations & Policy, Center for Food Safety & Applied Nutrition, effective Sept. 5. Fraser previously served as Associate Director for Regulations at the Office of Regulations & Policy beginning in 2001, where she was "crucial to the development and implementation of major food safety and food defense regulations," particularly 2002's Bioterrorism Act, according to CFSAN Director Robert Brackett, PhD.
