Information on 105 supplements will be available by the end of the year through new "drugs and supplements" search tab added to the Mayo Clinic 1website, Rochester, Minn.-based organization announces June 10. The new search tool currently contains information on 86 herbs, vitamins and other supplements compiled by the international research collaboration Natural Standard. Consumers can search by supplement name or browse alphabetical index to find information such as the useable parts of each herb, summarized results of scientific studies testing supplement efficacy, a grading scale that rates the strength of scientific evidence and possible allergic effects of the supplement...
