Executive Summary
Fredericksburg, Tex.-based firm is the target of a March 30 FDA 1warning letter citing Internet marketing claims that classify the company's products as unapproved new drugs. The websites, including 2triadforlife.com and 3www.reversemultiplesclerosis.com, claim the product Homeostasis Protocol reverses conditions including cancer, heart disease, diabetes and osteoporosis. Triad also claims that Royal Velvet, containing deer antler velvet extract, has been shown in clinical trials to cause "miraculous" recoveries from Alzheimer's, multiple sclerosis and Parkinson's disease.
