Nationwide retailer plans FY 2004 expansion with 50 to 55 new discount stores, 220 to 230 new Supercenters. Fiscal year beginning Feb. 1 also will bring additions of 30 units to Neighborhood Market concept, 35 to 40 new Sam's Club locations. Wal-Mart is slated to open 130 to 140 units in existing international markets. Current international markets include Argentina, Brazil, Canada, China, Germany, Korea, Mexico, Puerto Rico and the UK.
