Salt Lake City-based direct marketer acquires "all of the shares of a skin and personal care product manufacturer with annual sales of just over $4 mil.," according to July 10 announcement. Commenting on the deal, President Dave Wentz says acquisition "provides USANA with first-class manufacturing capability...allowing us to bring the production of our Sense [skin care] product line completely in-house," which should "contribute one to two cents in quarterly earnings per share." USANA will announce Q2 sales and earnings during July 15 conference call...
