Generic Pharmaceutical Association adds two legislative staffers in advance of 108th Congress. VP-Policy & Public Affairs Christine Simmon joins GPhA from BlueCross BlueShield, where she served as a senior policy analyst. Suzanne Charleston is GPhA's new director of government relations; she previously held the same position at the Pharmaceutical Care Management Association. GPhA's legislative agenda is centered on modifications to Hatch/Waxman; Sen. Orrin Hatch (R-Utah), who will resume chairmanship of the Judiciary Committee, has expressed interest in considering generic drug reforms (1"The Tan Sheet" Nov. 11, 2002, p. 11)...
