Executive Summary
As it considers changes to the reg, FDA will continue to "exercise enforcement discretion" on requirement in export notification, recordkeeping rule that records for exported cosmetics, foods be made available to agency for inspection. Also suspended is mandate that marketers of all regulated products prepare a notarized certification that the exported product does not conflict with importing country's laws. Enforcement of two provisions was previously postponed until July 19 in response to request by CTFA, GMA (1"The Tan Sheet" July 1, 2002, p. 18).
