Executive Summary
Stiefel Labs introduces dietary supplement "recommended by dermatologists" for healthy skin at the American Academy of Dermatology annual conference in Washington, D.C. March 2-7. Product labeling claims "the unique combination of vitamins and minerals...has been specifically chosen to provide key skin building components." The supplement combines 15 nutrients "necessary for skin growth, protection and health," including vitamins A, C and E, folate, biotin, calcium, lycopene and silicon. Adults and children over 12 should take one tablet daily, directions suggest; a bottle of 60 coated tablets retails for $15. DermaVite is available now on the company's Web site and will reach mass markets soon, Stiefel says
