Executive Summary
Special advertorial in an April issue of Newsweek will present information on the supplement industry to a national audience. CRN will provide the magazine with guidelines for the four-page insert, which will include four editorial pieces written by Newsweek editors and four advertisements. Each story will focus on a different theme in the industry, with sections entitled, "Promise to Consumers: Safe Products and Highest Quality"; "A Part of Good Health and Proven Benefits"; "A Strong Foundation in Science and Research"; and "Assurance of Law." Three firms have expressed interest in the advertisement section; CRN is looking for one more and has extended the participation deadline to Jan. 1
