The National Advertising Division of the Council of Better Business Bureaus is bringing to FDA's attention Advanced Restoration Technologies' performance and safety ad claims for its HairGenesis dietary supplement marketed to treat hair loss. The company told NAD it would appeal the CBBB division's original decision against the company to the National Advertising Review Board; however, the firm did not follow through with the appeal and has continued to make the claims (1"The Tan Sheet" Jan. 17, p. 17)
