Kaiser Permanente of Ohio to begin offering members reduced prices on vitamins, minerals and herbal supplements in early 2000 through an arrangement with American Specialty Health Network. Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Massachusetts has similar plans; in January it will announce the details of its discounts on vitamins, supplements, herbals and natural health care products. In addition, CAM Health Partners, a new alliance of six CAM organizations comprising approximately 20,000 practitioners, plans to offer a professional line of supplements at discounted rates to physicians
