Executive Summary
The Institute of Medicine's Food & Nutrition Board expects to release a final report on dietary reference intake values for antioxidants in January or February. The report, which will cover vitamins C and E, beta carotene and selenium, is undergoing an internal review process. The DRIs encompass three intake values for specific nutrients: the estimated average requirement, the recommended dietary allowance and tolerable upper limits
