Developed by Creative Advertising Solutions, New York, the 15- and 30-second commercials are tagged "Don't Take Chances, Take Os-Cal." The 30-second spot begins with Fleming skating. "Boy, the things we don't think about when we're young. I'm Peggy Fleming, and now that I'm older and wiser, I think about the brittle bones that I could get if I wasn't taking a calcium supplement," she says. Fleming continues in a voiceover, "Only Os-Cal has been proven effective in more clinical studies, and comes from a natural calcium source, and has been recommended by more doctors than Caltrate and Citracal combined."
