TV commercial highlighting the cherry flavor of new Alka-Seltzer Plus Children's Cold Medicine began airing Sept. 29 during the syndicated daytime talk show "Sally." The 30-second spot features three mothers whose children enjoy the product's bubbly, cherry taste. "It's medicine that works," one mother says, and her son responds, "Are you sure this is medicine?" Another child adds: "It's just what the Mom ordered." Bayer began shipping the product in August (1"The Tan Sheet, Aug. 12, In Brief). Separately, Bayer and Colgate-Palmolive announce a promotional bonus pack of 100-count Aleve tablets or caplets or 80-count gelcaps and a .75 oz. tube of Colgate Total Fresh Stripe toothpaste. Running from Sept. 20 through Nov. 12, the promotion emphasizes the 12-hour effectiveness of both products

Kaire Holdings introduced the Vitaplanet.com e-commerce Internet site featuring 19 herb and nutrition products May 24.
