Executive Summary
FSI dropped July 25 represents Selfcare's first promotions for herbal PMS and menopause products, extensions to the Stresstabs line launched in February. The FSI states "Herbs For PMS" and "Nature offers stress-free cycles with every dawn," and features coupons for $4-off the PMS product and $3-off the menopause item. Stresstabs herbal PMS contains 300 mg calcium, 100 mg magnesium and 2 mg chaste tree berry extract per tablet, while Stresstabs herbal Menopause provides 100 mg magnesium, 20 mg black cohosh and 300 mg St. John's wort per tablet. The Waltham, Mass.-based company has received "courtesy" letters from FDA in the past for PMS and menopause claims. However, the claims on the herbals remain relatively unchanged; Selfcare says it will postpone changing its packaging until FDA determines more concretely what constitutes unapproved "disease" claims
