Executive Summary

Leila Saldanha, PhD, will join July 1 in the new position of VP, nutritional sciences from Kellogg. Saldanha, who is also a registered dietitian, joined Kellogg in 1988 and was named director, nutrition and science affairs in 1998. Robert Brouse, the association's VP-government relations, has been given the new title VP and director of corporate development to better reflect his work with the association's new dietary supplement members. CHPA Senior VP and Public Affairs Director Joseph Doss is leaving to become president of the International Bottled Water Association based in Alexandria, Va. Sept. 1. IBWA has a $5.5 mil. budget, a staff of about 15 and represents companies that produce 85% of the bottled water sold in the U.S. Doss is on his second stint at the OTC trade group. He first joined NDMA in 1984 as an attorney, left in 1990 for Covington & Burling and rejoined in January 1997
