Executive Summary

Perrigo predicts a new cost reduction initiative - including a series of job cuts - will result in savings of $5 mil. to $6 mil. in FY 2000 (begins July 4). Between 120 and 150 non-production positions will be eliminated by the end of June, ultimately resulting in the termination of "80 to 100 jobs," the private label marketer announced April 15.
