A dietary supplement industry-sponsored advisory committee to review adverse event reports stemming from supplement use would be a "contribution the industry could easily make" to improve postmarket surveillance, Council for Responsible Nutrition Scientific & Regulatory Affairs Director Annette Dickinson, PhD, told attendees of a Center for Business Intelligence meeting on dietary supplement regulation in Washington, D.C.
