FDA Would Be Allocated $214 Mil. For Human Drugs Under Budget Plan

The Clinton Administration's budget for FY 2000, released Feb. 1, proposes approximately $214 mil. for human drug activities, compared to $178 mil. for FY 1999 (ends Sept. 30). The FY 2000 request marks a 20% increase over the FY 1999 figure.
