Executive Summary
Galagen's Proventra line of "natural immune components" dietary supplements will be distributed throughout North America in GNC stores and its affiliates - possibly including Rite Aid - in the second half of the year, the Arden Hills, Minn.-based nutritional products company says. The dietary supplements contain antibodies derived from cow's milk colostrum. GNC is managing manufacturing and marketing of the product. GNC and GalaGen are both founding members of the Research-based Dietary Ingredients Association and GalaGen Chairman and CEO Robert Hoerr, MD/PhD, is the group's head ("The Tan Sheet" July 13, 1998, p. 13)
