Petroleum Distillates CRP Exemptions Will Be Considered by CPSC

The Consumer Product Safety Commission will consider exceptions to its advance notice of proposed rulemaking on child-resistant packaging (CRP) for products containing petroleum distillates, the commission said during a Nov. 18 meeting. Comments suggesting products for exclusion from, and inclusion in, the final rule are due by mid-December.
