Executive Summary
To be released in the spring, Procter & Gamble Regulatory Affairs Manager Oral Care OTCs Chris Moorman predicts. Her "best guess" is based on "little signals...in talking with different folks at the agency." The proposed rule was published in February 1997 ("The Tan Sheet" March 3, 1997, pp. 1-9). Moorman says the final rule is "completely drafted" and has been reviewed by FDA legal counsel. "The agency is working this...in tandem with everyone who needs to sign off within the FDA before it goes to [the Office of Management & Budget]," she tells the Regulatory Affairs Professional Society annual conference in Washington, D.C.
