Executive Summary
Jane Henney, MD, expected to be sworn into office following the Nov. 3 general elections. Henney may report to work by the end of November, at the earliest. FDA Associate Commissioner for Strategic Management Linda Suydam is heading up the transition team until Henney starts. While Henney's confirmation will inevitably lead to changes at the top agency level, it may not have much of an effect on center-level management. The ceremony is likely to take place at the White House
