Executive Summary
Health Canada Therapeutic Products Directorate issues a drug identification number for the anticavity fluoride toothpaste, enabling the product to be marketed in Canada, Yonkers, N.Y.-based Enamelon announces Sept. 16. The firm expects to form a distribution agreement with a Canadian company in the next few weeks and to start shipments early in 1999. The toothpaste, which features Enamelon's "remineralization" technology, bowed in the U.S. early this year ("The Tan Sheet" Jan. 26, p. 7)
