The group's latest campaign to prevent birth defects and infant mortality through folic acid consumption is being pursued in conjunction with other education efforts by members of the National Folic Acid Task Force, a group recently convened by the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention. The March of Dimes has committed up to $10 mil. for its latest folic acid education program.
