HERBALIFE SALES IN HONG KONG, KOREA UP SUBSTANTIALLY, with retail sales in Hong Kong increasing about 76% to $8.5 mil. for the second quarter compared to the same period last year, and retail sales in Korea more than doubling to $5.4 mil. All told, sales within the Asia/Pacific Rim region -- including Japan and Taiwan -- increased 10% to $154.8 mil. from $140.7 mil. in the comparable quarter last year. In local currency, Asia Pacific Rim sales were up 28%, Herbalife noted.
