SmithKline Beecham (Tums) and Osteoporosis Centers of America are offering reduced-cost bone density testing and education programs in drug stores nationwide through 1998 and 1999. The bone scan, which can cost up to $250, is $29.95 under the program. Brochures about osteoporosis are distributed as well.
