MEAD JOHNSON SEEKING TO HALT SIMILAC "1ST CHOICE OF DOCTORS" CLAIM with a lawsuit filed against Abbott Labs and its Ross Products division in Evansville, Ind. federal court July 22. Mead Johnson, the marketer of Enfamil formulas, requests a preliminary and permanent injunction against Ross' use in labeling and advertisements of the claim that Similac with Iron, Similac Low Iron and Isomil are the "1st choice of doctors." Mead Johnson also requests corrective advertising retracting the "false and misleading" claim.
