FAT ABSORB NAD RECOMMENDATION TO HALT SAFETY, EFFICACY CLAIMS in advertising is being appealed by dietary supplement marketer Forever Young Again Products. The National Advertising Division of the Council of Better Business Bureaus, upon review of a 30-minute infomercial for the chitin-containing supplement marketed for weight loss and data submitted by Forever Young, determined the safety and efficacy claims made for the product lack substantiation by appropriate clinical data.
