Drink mix to be reconstituted with water now comes in cranberry flavor, containing 100 mg of real cranberry powder, equal to the amount found in a 10 oz. cranberry juice cocktail, the company says. E Mergen-C with cranberry contains 38 mineral complexes, B vitamins and 1,000 mg of Alacer's mineral ascorbates vitamin C. The product contains eight times more potassium than Gatorade and also comes in Tropical, Tangerine and the original Lemon-Lime flavors. Alacer, which heretofore was a health food store marketer, recently has begun branching out to the mass market and previewed the line at the NACDS marketplace expo.
