Health & beauty care sales rose by more than 15% in supermarkets with a pharmacy in the store, according to results of the Food Marketing Institute's "1998 Supermarket Pharmacy Survey." Of the 56% of respondents that had calculated the impact of pharmacy on H&BC sales, nearly 45% said sales rose by over 15%, with a more than 25% increase in H&BC sales reported by 27% of respondents.
