EYE DROP REDNESS RELIEVER FOR BURNING EYES CHOSEN BY TWO-THIRDS OF CONSUMERS but only 3% of optometrists in a survey commissioned by Bausch & Lomb. The two-phase telephone survey, which involved 1,017 consumers age 18 and older selected through random digit dialing and 100 optometrists from around the U.S., was conducted to measure potential misuse of OTC eye drops to treat specific eye irritations. Decision Research, Inc., a Cincinnati-based market research firm, conducted the survey.
