TWINLAB 1997 SALES UP 25% TO $213 MIL. ON NEW PRODUCT INTRODUCTIONS, expanded distribution and a strengthening of the Twinlab brand, the company announced Feb. 11. Net income increased 35.5% to $22.7 mil. from pro forma net income of $16.7 mil. in 1996 (excluding the effects of the company's 1996 recapitalization and initial public offering).
