PACED BY "STRONG GROWTH" IN NUTRITIONALS and personal care product lines and by "more modest growth" in OTCs during the second quarter of FY 1998 (ended Dec. 31), the private label manufacturer announced Feb. 4. The slower OTC sales were "partially" due to "weak overall consumer demand for cough and cold products and to the strong performance of OTC products last year," Allegan, Mich.-based Perrigo stated.
