In what could be their last quarter as separate wholesalers, Dublin, Ohio-based Cardinal Health reported an 11% gain in revenues to $3.13 bil. while Orange, Calif.-based Bergen Brunswig reported 12.3% growth to $3.17 bil. Cardinal and Bergen shareholders will vote on the proposed merger of the two firms Feb. 20. Both wholesalers continue to project completion of the merger during the first quarter, although the Federal Trade Commission has yet to grant antitrust approval.
